Religion and Society in the Punjab (RS 213B) is a graduate seminar that focuses on some of the landmarks developments in the religio-cultural life of the Punjab from the Indus Valley Civilization to the present day.
Music of the Punjab (M175K) is an upper division undergraduate course that provides an overview of musical life in the Punjab, as well as the Punjabi-based music being produced in Western countries, with special emphasis on the changing role of music in new contexts and circumstances.
In addition, Indian Civilization (RS 20) and World Music (M175F and M175G) & and Music Cultures of the World (M 293F) contain sections on the Punjab.
